Being Safe Around Dogs
A 50 minute lesson on how to interact safely with dogs. Participants are taught about the close links between dogs and wolves and are offered the opportunity to work with a Doggy Chillin trained dog.
When the newspapers are full of stories of dogs attacking people this workshop helps young people avoid being bitten by dogs. It teaches the attendee the key basics of communication and safe interaction with a dog. If this simple method was followed the number of incidents of dog bites would be reduced and our communities would be safer places. Read Kibble’s account of our workshop with their young people here.
Cost of workshop is £120 per session. There is no limit to numbers who can attend. We have run the course for as small a group as 3 and as large as 100 young people.
